Senior Financial Analyst

Spartanburg-area healthcare provider is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to be responsible for providing financial support, guidance, and analysis for various business development projects.  Position functions as an internal consultant to develop and implement labor management, cost control, financial analysis, operational process improvement, and business cases for the assigned division.  Provides project management leadership and direction.   These efforts include simplifying processes, eliminating redundancies, and streamlining and strengthening the organization.  The position is also responsible for preparation of financial analysis and reports utilizing the decision support systems.  The position will utilize Microsoft Excel and Access on a routine basis and will also be involved in special financial analysis-based projects and various regulatory surveys throughout the year.

Job specifications include 3 years in financial planning and analysis, reimbursement, cost analysis in a hospital or health related field.  Must have Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Science, or closely related field.  Must be at least an intermediate user of Microsoft Excel and Access.  Experience in hospital accounting / finance / decision support preferred.   CPA / CMA / or HFMA certification is also preferred.

Manager of Accounting Operations

Spartanburg-area healthcare provider is seeking an experienced accounting professional to assume responsibility for accounting transactions for multiple entities, specifically accounts payable, payroll, fixed assets, and other disbursement transactions.  The manager will serve as the lead employee for the transformation of existing processes to electronic processes.  The position will ensure that all operational functions meet the needs of internal and external customers while adhering to the appropriate internal controls and corporate policies and procedures.  Position reports to Controller and supervises a staff of 8.

The successful candidate should have Bachelor degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent and 5+ years of experience in managing accounting operations, specifically accounts payable and payroll.  MBA and/or CPA preferred. Ideal applicant should have previous experience with a major accounts payable system such as Infor Lawson, SAP, or PeopleSoft.
